i saw this before on the east coast too. i saw one guy at a meet with his stang and i asked him why do you have a gtr emblem. he told me its because his mustang was a "gt" and he had cobra "R" cams or something. hence GTR. Apparently this is something that is normal in the stang community,( the use of GTR) that is. hahaha i just laughed and walked away.
