Well if we are going to be there long enough I'm pretty sure we are going to need some food aren't we.
I think we should make a list of the people that are going and the foods that we can bring.

I'll volunteer to bring some Soda and Water and Ice... I think I have a cooler that I can fit in the Z??? I hope....

Okay...so the beach looks like Corona del Mar? right?

There is still some stuff we have to get planned:

So when and where are we gonna meet up?
What is the route for the run?
Whose bringing what to the bonfire(food, wood, alcohol, etc.)?
What are we doing between the run and the bonfire(I'm assuming there will be allot of time in between, unless we have an afternoon run)?

Okay, lets get this puppy planned. Last time I checked the 25th was right around the corner. Lets try to get this planned by Friday because I know allot of people don't check the boards on the weekend.

OK, my friend that lives in the beach house wont be home that weekend, so I can't get there super early to save the spot.

We should go to the beach first, bbq, do the bonfire thing, and then go cruise pch. If we cruise pch first it's gonna be more difficult to find a parking spot since it's guaranteed that there's gonna be a lot of people. If we're gonna do this it, everyone has to get there early, or come later and find a good parking spot.

I volunteer to be there early to get a pit, I know aloha said he would also, so either one of us can do that. I don't know if Corona Del Mar beach has bbq or bonfire pits, if they do that would be the ideal beach to head to. Let me know what y'all think.

Wait...I'm getting confused. We do the bonfire during the day? I thought bonfires were a night thing. How early do we have to be there to get a pit?

In Corona Del Mar state beach they have picnic areas with barbecue pits on the upcoast end of the beach. Easy arrival would be suggested for sure.

Whos going to do it?


There is also public parking near the picnic/pit area on the north end of the beach. There is parking on the street but its a long walk down to the beach.

If were going to BBQ will need a grill to put over the pit. I have 2 small grills (I had to rig it so it would work last year). Can someone bring one?

These are the items that we will need to BBQ and for the beach.

1. A big grill to fit over the pit.
2. Drinks
3. Ice
4. Food (Im going to bring some shiskabobs).
5. Wood (duraflame wood logs work real good).
6. Matches and lighter fluid (fire fire).
7. Sun tan lotion
8. Money for public parking (6 dollars per car).
9. A big unbrella.

We need to get a list going on who's bringing what. I think we should also start a new thread for that.
