also... so i got into a little idiotic accident (don't ask.. i'm pissed at myself) and need a new front bumper plus a little touchup work on the hood (very minor scratches) - i've always liked the amuse front bumper (i'd go with replica) so i need a shop that'll paint & install but that can also figure out if there's any other damage to the car once they take off the bumper. i got my insurance assessment but if there's other damage we can always ask for more $$

so yeah.. suggestions? i'm in the eastern 818 area - glendale-burbank-pasadena-la crescenta & i work in hollywood. i have some shops/people in mind (yes, i've thought of makito & shine) but wanted to see if anyone's had any great experiences with shops in the 818.

ZOMG you're back on the forum!!!! I went to DTM in El Monte when I got my V2 front bumper and they did a really good job on painting it. The only thing is that DTM is a hit or miss kinda place. People either have really good experiences with them, or rather bad ones. I got lucky with them I guess. I believe they also have the Amuse replica bumpers in stock if you just want to buy it from them.
Makito is another good choice if you don't mind the wait, because he takes FOREVER from what I've heard. A few of my friends got price quotes from him and ended up not going to him because of how long it would have taken. Just ask Mike (Harout) about that.

The guys at Precision Z are VERY knowledgeable and should be able to help you with your problem. Their prices are a little higher than other shops, but they definitely know their stuff.

 

hmm.. might as well ask here, where in the 626/ SGV area or decent distance to find a place to replace diff bushings and other bushings, etc. thanks!
