2 very cool people. Heri serviced me on Saturday and the first time I went their just before Tim started with them. Frank, well he pretty much lives there so you cant go there with out running into him at some point. Phillipe is another great guy.

Well Said Ryan this is the reason why.......not because it is a new dealership. I could sit here for days with stories of how well I have been treated and how FAST I have got parts sent to me at work. I don't have to call around and get lame stories on how the part is back ordered and wait around. I call Jen or anyone at Westco and the very next day the part arrives. Tim is by far the best in service to the customer and he is extremely honest and it saddens me that he is no longer part of the best team in SoCal. I hope all goes well with Tim and someday hope to see him back at Westco.

Most people talk s#!t about there service experiences, I praise mine. Im sure I am not alone on this, based on the tally. I would say, "good luck" to Tim but he doesnt need it, he will do just fine on his own merits. There are still a couple good guys at Performance (Andy & Eddie), but everyone else is a stranger and last time I went their the 2 guys I knew werent there and when I was quoted for parts and labor I almost $#!t.

John at perf is cool as hell too =D

Not that it matters, but I find it odd that more than 1/2 of the votes for Performance are coming from parts of the country other than California. Just didnt realise people were driving over 3k miles for service. I know there are online orders but service.....you would need 2 oil changes just to make the journey

does anybody have tims e-mail or contact information because he has taken care of my z every since my first oil change and during my engine oil consumption phase. Tim was great he doesn't BS and just tells me straight. went to some other guy at WCN, when tim wasn't there, for an oil change and oil consumption test and that guy said it was normaly to have lost 1 1/2qt of oil. He basically gave me the same run around answer. I really didn't like that guy and didn't go to that guy after. So i'm really thinking about visiting performance nissan just to get my car serviced by tim. Any help will be appreciated. thanks.

I was just there last Saturday when Tim was gone. Basically I was there for oil consumption and the guy told me to come back after 750 miles (I lost 1.3qts). and I went to chatted with Jeff about things and he asked what was I getting done. I said oil consumption and I have to come back after 750. Jeff talked to the service writer and bamm they're going to contact Nissan about getting me a new engine. I do understand what you mean though about a good service writer. I am still stuck in your shoe a bit.

honestly, everything you guys are saying about WCN is what you all used to say about PN. when PN lost a bunch of people it's only natural that thier service/parts would take a hit, which it did. but it seems like you people are so willing to write a shop off for a period of bad service while they readjust, when judged against thier past record.

I know alot of the 'lost' staff went to WCN, but still.. you guys act like performance nissan is filled with lepers!! I still go to thier site first for pricing and nissan parts

well buying parts and having someone service my car with care is different. i am not talking about prices or what type of parts are available. i'm talking about the service guys who just says whatever is on top of their head to get you and your car out of the dealership as soon as possible. First of all i bought my car at performance nissan, and when i had the oil consumption problem and Frank was the first one to reply to my e-mail telling me to run by WCN and he'll look at the problem. Which was greatly appreciated. At WCN Jeff and Frank they are still cool, but the one time i went there for an oil change and oil consumption test, i wanted to get my car serviced by Tim, but got serviced by some other guy who came back with an answer of 1 1/2 qt lose of oil is normal for a car. What type of answer is that? Is it just me, or is any type of oil lose bad?

350Z Guys and Girls,

First of all I'd like to thank everyone for their good lucks and best wishes. It's been an incredible experience working with the 350Z community since I have been in California. You guys are an incredible group of people, great customers and just true enthusiasts. It was a difficult decision for me to choose between Performance and West Covina. It's very hard when there are two superb dealerships with exellent staffs and managers so close to one another and home.

For future service needs.....it's a toss up between both facilities. Obviously I would like to continue servicing any Z's that want to come see me, but I do know that either place you decide to go you will receive beyond excellent service. Both dealerships truely have the customers best interests in mind.

I'll stop rambling now but again I appreciate everyones kind words. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Tim Lange

hey motormouth, yeah that was at WCN. When i started to have the oil consumption issue, my car got serviced by Tim the first 3 times. Tim gave me a straight forward no BSing answer of we need do further test and he also stated that was pretty abnormal for a car that only had 6000 miles. But the 4th time i went there Tim was on vacation i believe and i got serviced by that other guy, which he gave me that typical dealer answer of 1 1/2 qt of oil lose is normal for a car. So i just took that answer cause tim was honest and i thought this guy was honest as well. But i was wrong. couple of weeks later my car started to make this weird noise and my check oil light came on, and my oil gauge was not moving at all. which scared the hell out of me by the way. I went back and Tim&Jeff helped me out on servicing my car when i told him what happend. After Tim checked out my car and gave me a call later, he told me that i was down by 4qt of oil

I think if tim was there the 4th time i think he would have looked at my history of visits and taken care of the issue in a different way instead of the typical crappy answer that other guy gave me.

I know everyone just loves Tim and after dealing with him a couple of times he seemed like a nice guy, but after my last visit to WCN I am very disapointed with his service.

Went to Westco today for oil change. I went there for the first time to see what the whole fuz was about. I have to say, this is the best facility i've ever seen. HERI is an awesome dude.... and will not think twice about driving to 20miles out there for any future services. BTW(Motul oil change at a bargain price + carwash )
