They are without a doubt still vacuum forming their CF products.
Tell Boomer I say Hi ! Thanks for clarifying

Oh that's your roadster. Cool. Wasn't sure if it was a forum member's or not. Boomer was telling me of his plans for it.

Will do, and no prob'. I got a very in depth tour the first time I was there (at their new location) and even saw one in the process of being made, so I was a little confused when Andy said they didn't use a vacuum process.

Your welcome Jim.

Boomer just called me and he's giving mine to you since you need one SOOOO urgently. gosh.

I'm just playin', he is gonna get me one by Friday.
You can apologize to Stan though, since I won't be takin' pics tonight. lol.

It's cool though, I'm leaving for Vegas this weekend and wouldn't be putting it on 'till next week anyways.

Hmm, I guess they found a replacement for Jose but it's hard to believe as there aren't many people who know how to do vacuum infusing in Southern Cali. I'll have to check with my source.

I'm sorry, but are you purposely trying to give them a bad rap? It may just be me reading things weird, but I can't help but feel your posts are somewhat negatively geared towards Mastergrade..?

What equipment you use?

I've done Spring Mountain once, was a blast. I suppose they've finished the construction they were doing by now, so its a new track configuration right? I was out there early last year.

There may not be many, but there sure is more then one. I believe Boomer has already spoken to your "source". Let's just say he wasn't happy about these rumors being spread.

XTi, 17-85IS, 18-55 Kit Lens, Nifty Fifty. I think I may go pick up some additional hardware for Sunday though.

I'm not exactly sure about the construction, but last time I was out there in May, there didn't seem to be any.

Not really, I'm just trying to put the info out there. If I was trying to give them a bad rep or had any ill intentions towards them, I would've posted a dedicated thread a long time ago when Jose first left and then some. Someone on this thread was specifically asking what the differences between the 2 companies are, I answered. And to clarify, Mastergrade and ASUKA are NOT the same.

Rumors or not, fact is that Jose is not there and a replacement for him has never been confirmed. If he found a replacement, great. If not, I don't think that Mastergrade can legitimately say that the products are vacuum bagged.

Alright, I've checked my source and it has been confirmed. Mastergrade carbon products are ALL vacuum infused so the quality of the construction process is not compromised. Hope this clears up any confusion.

Cool. I have the XT with the kit lens. I am picking up a Manfrotto tripod very soon as I love me some night shots.
I wanna make sure I'm sticking with the Canon pro line before I invest in any lenses, although I am loving it.

So you were at their old location. I was out there end of August and they had just moved to Bellflower a couple days prior. I saw your car and he told me what parts he was making, but as they were still a mess from moving I didn't see any prototypes or anything if they were there. I did get to see alot of other stuff though. I didn't realize you've been away from your car that long though, that'd drive me crazy.
