Same here.. my gf bought it to me becoz I play guitar.. and I play beatmania iidx..

But if you play real guitar, you will have no fun playing guitar hero at all..

I could be fun at first if you dont play any musical instrument.. I started playing guitar because I played Konami's guitarfreaks.. which I think guitar hero is copying them..
Yea, so go have fun with it. Im not trying to criticize anyone who plays GH.

My conclusion is, why spend the time to be good in game instead of spend the time practicing the real thing!? Now I stopped play beatmania iidx too. Just concentrate on guitar and my studies :P

 

Im playing career on Hard and can pass all the songs but the first song on the last level, I can only get half way the first finger tapping part =(
And then my guitar broke on Rock Band and then my drum petal broke....very cheaply made.

one of the best south park episodes of all time in my oppinion.

best line from the episode: "Thad is so good he can play accapella!" and everyone cheers at the taps of the guitar like they can actually tell what song he is playing!

I never saw that episode...I need to go track it down. Sounds like it could be real funny.

by far one of the best episodes I've sen in a while, if anyone hasn't seen it they should download it or find it on youtube, its pretty good!
