Funny, I was a promoter for HIN since 2000, and I've been to almost everyone that has been in SoCal up to this point, and all this time being a promoter, this will be the first time I enter my car....needless to say i'm excited yo.

No worries Jon. Would your group want to roll in at the same time we do?

i'm sure they would want to, as long as there aren't SO many people that we can't stay organized.

No problem, our groups can separate during staging but at least we're all in the same general section.

Mel I will be polishing my car Friday early let me know if you want to stop by and do your car also at my parents place. I have a orbital polisher that works great and all I use is Meguiars or if you want to use your choice of wax and my polisher let me know. I will maybe tackle a full detail with clay, cleaner, sealant and wax.

Yes we can do it early Friday if you have never used the Meguiars orbital it is completely safe and the results of using the machine are to die for. One thing is you need to purchase some polishing pads at least 3 of them to use. I have some but they get dirty fast so for a good job on two cars we need to pick some up. Super Auto bacs carries them or even online. I will be going to Super Auto Bacs on Sunday and picking up pads for myself. The pads are about 9 bucks a piece I think.

Ed, I may need your help with my car before the show, the only place I trust with an orbital on my car is my body shop and they are super expensive for detailing =)

The Meguiars Polisher is completely safe to use and won't damage the paint. I have used it on many cars including my a friend of mine who has a show quality De Tomaso Pantera. He was worried about it also but after he used it for about 5 mins he began to get a hold of it. If you guys have a bigger place to do a few cars we can meet there since at my parents place there is room for only 2 cars max.

I'll get your the part numbers from Super Auto Bacs this weekend. I would think you would need at least three of them. The machine can be used to remove wax also which cuts down time and labor and makes it a whole lot easier.
