Looks like I'm in too. I guess I'll take the rear just cuz I'm last. Actually, I prefer the rear cuz I don't exactly wanna go too fast on this run. Something to look forward to when I come back!

I don't think we'll have a problem, considering it sounds like this is pretty heavily patrolled, I'm sure most people will just be cruising along. . .

Lookin forward to this for sure!

Take care

Wow... the list has grown significantly since the last time I was online! This is going to be a great turn out! (I had to temporarily put away my desktop at home and my laptop is out-of-order.... so thats why I was MIAing.)

Anyway, as far as the meeting place goes, why don't we go with Iris' suggestion!? (Thanks Iris! for your input.) I'm not too much of a coffee drinker so I could care less if it's starbucks or Coffee Bean or Diedrich... and I personally do not know where that is but if I get a chance before 7/13, I'll go check it out and see if the parking lot can accomodate 20+ z's safely. If someone who lives close by can check it out, I'm sure everyone would appreciate that as well.

I live like 10 minutes from Angeles Crest. I'll probably make a few runs next week cause I'll be on vacation and I"ll be bored. =)

So I'll try and make it out there and take a good look. I never really bothered to check before for any places to meet. I just hit it and head home.

Well, Angeles Crest starts from La Canada I think so why not meet at the Shell Gas station right off the 210 exit? The cops there can be dicks, but as long as we behave, I doubt we'll have any problems. If you want a Starbucks, there's one off the 2 right in La Canada. The exit off the 210 should be Angeles Crest Hwy I think. The run is pretty darn fun, but there's quite a bit of rocks once you get higher up in the mountain. It's a pretty exhilarating run up to Mt Wilson.

i was trying to think up another good place to meet up near angeles crest, that can accomodate 20+ z's. i think i have another possible place where the 134 and the 2 fwy's meet. for you locals, it's the parking lot for rusty pelican's/in-n-out. i'm sure it's a pretty good place to meet up (angeles crest is a mere 8 minutes away, and i'm assuming the lot won't be full since it will be a sunday morning), the only pitfall is that it's in the city of glendale where cops have the reputation for being anything but friendly. if that doesn't sound enticing, there's always the rosebowl in pasadena! angeles crest is about 10 minutes away from angeles crest also. it should be fairly easy to find people there, and if there aren't any activities that sunday, it's a great place to start a caravan from. this is also a great place for a photoshoot.

sorry Mr. B, but I've been to that Shell gas station - NO WAY.

Anywhere else is fine with me.... I also don't drink coffee. Somebody either has to scope possible locations out first, or we can just pick somewhere.

Hey B, are you back in town? I haven't seen you around in ages!

The NSX club usually meets at the Ralphs that's near the "start" of Angeles Crest.

I think there's a Sizzler next to it as well. Anyway lots of open parking if you meet early enough.
