nice pics..overall a pretty fun event nice driving gloves that came with the track entree, wished the roach coaches came earlier and the drivers' meeting took place earlier, for those who tracked it was scheduled for 7:15, but it actually took place at 930-10ish....

what was up with a few G35/350z's speeding right after being checked in early in the morning...

one of the staffers had to yell " slow the **** down!!!" to a few of the guys....

I think the speeding thing in the "paddock" area is being a little overblown. We waited in line and puddled along at 5mph for a good hour I'd say. After this, some of the guys may have stepped on the gas a bit, but nothing like "drag racing" as some of the girls in the tech area were describing it. They probably didn't stay within the 10mph speed limit or whatever it was, but it wasn't a big deal.

That guy who told everyone to slow down, barreled down a narrow line sandwiched between two rows of cars. At the last minute, he smashed on his brakes and probably skidded a good five feet at which point he jumps out of his car and tells people to slow down.

you're right it wasnt drag racing... but i just heard the roar of the VQ's at high RPMs, quite a few of them and i was in the pits and me and the other Z guys with me were like whoa dood... calm down.... all good though, i can understand both sides.

Blindfire took some sick photos, that red S14.5 was probably one of the sickest 240's ive seen around..
