i hear ya and i had the same problem. just so you know, having lasik usually induces dry eyes after surgery. so if you have dry eyes to begin with, chances are they'll feel dryer right after surgery and then will subside and go back to how it was before. will they feel as bad as it was when you wear contacts? probably not and you should be given artificial tear drops to help with dryness.

actually my eyes only dry up when wearing contacts to the point where i can feel the contacts in my eyes, when i wear my glasses theyre fine.
