youre actually comparing Dallas to the Lakers? I dont believe the Lakers have ever bent over in the first round like Dallas did last year. (And does consistenly in the Playoffs no matter what there record is in the regular season)

Another example would be losing 4 straight in the championships against Miami after being up 2-0. lol

Again, Kobe likes to PIITB. Not take it up the butt.

dallas lost cuz dirk is not a great number one guy. hes like a pau gasol. great talent but needs someone else to be that number one guy.

kobe is a number one guy. they will not lose to the nuggets. not way the nuggets can beat the lakers 4 times in 2 weeks

No one expected them to finish first in the West. #7 to #1 from last year to this year. Kobe NOT MvP? Yah right.

Shaq did what? Eat too much food and get fat? Dude, Shaq and Kobe are cool now. Shaq admitted that his leaving had nothing to do with Kobe. Kobe is a grown ****ing man, he's not gana come ***** because Buss refuses to resign a used up fat foock who's asking for too much money. Kobe did the right thing by staying away, and look...it all worked out for the best. At the beginning of the year every flamed Kobe for being a “cry baby’…but look what his crying got him. If you could take a team that got knocked out of the first round last year and make them a #1 seat this year and still get paid 19 million, I think you would cry to. We got Bynum and Pau. And im glad you think Paul is the only "real" MVP, i guess all the B-ball annalists are just wrong? Last time i checked Tyson Chander, Peja, david west are not BUMS. I really hope Dallas knocks out the Hornets in the first round, and when they do I will come back and flame you more.

I was at the game- kinda boring just like I thought....Dallas wouldve been a better game to see (for the $$$ I paid for them tickets). I sat there watching for score updates on the Orlando game for the beginning of the game cuz it was all lakers. Then in the 2nd quarter it got interesting when denver came back. This series will be a snoozer.

ur comment makes no sense...lakers were still a really good team without gasol...adding gasol to the team just put them over the top. every team has their piece of the puzzle. if the celtics didnt have garnett do u think they would be #1 in the east? i think not...if the cavs didnt have king james would they b in the playoffs? i think not.

Yeah, +1 to LT_350Z.

Without Kobe, the Lakers would "suck so bad", too. Gimme a break. If that's the criteria for MVP, so many different/countless players would qualify. The team is the sum of its parts. The MVP is something else altogether.
