it seems that we had pretty good comminucation, so since I was still not in the front, I think we would have heard, I even asked "any cops ahead I am at 135" but I doubt people understood me.

Plus I alreay got a ticket going to the meet when Zman32 and I got lost, luckiliy I ONLY got a warning (that Nneeeeeeeeeeeeever happens to me), and cops know that there is a limit of ONLY 1 ticket per day (tic).

Hello all. it was nice meeting some of you today. I just wanted to thank you for letting us rsx crew cruise with you guys.

We did bail out for a second over there at Mt wilson to take a road with more twists and turns. I think we went up that road faster than angeles. Here are some pics

Further up angeles crest we went to the restaurant that is up there and saw this. This is my guess as to what happend based on what i heard. The guy was chasing someone on a bike. He came around the corner way too hot. Understeered, went into the dirt on the right, hit the brakes, locked up the wheels, skided across the street and hit the berm on the other side of the road flipping him over. You guys might have seen the emergency vehicles heading up angeles on your way down.

I hit about 105 on the long straight...right behind DCzoner...

I took the 405 home to the South Bay. Major traffic from the 101 to Sunset Blvd. Why you might ask...
Well, the reason there was so much traffic was that just past Sunset, everyone was stopping to stare at...a brand new Boxster, burned to the ground. Not a pretty sight.

So, lets talley up the carnage for today...
1. TomJones and I saw a car fire on the 110 noirth at the 405 on the way up to AC.

2. After going the wrong way to the meet, haul around a blind corner on the 5 north, and almost get greamed by a complete front bumper sitting on the side of the lane

3. Motorcycle that bit it on AC highway

4. Boxster burned to the ground

Great run guys.... haha.. I'm trying to figure out where some of you hit 135... I was in front and the fastest that I ever went was 80.
It was fun... much better than I thought it would be with 20+ cars.

Audio you used your brakes???

Like I mentioned before, I live 10 minutes from there so I'm up in the canyons quite often. If anyone wants to run.... just let me know

Hey that was good seeing all of you... minus the heat... and the heat... and the heat...

Seriously... I think that's my lasting memory of this drive.... THE HEAT.

Thanks to my Diego bro's, import and Aloha. Nice meeting you Cameron, we should kick it sometime. Ganz... I have no idea where you went after we left Baker's Square... like ninja... you show up from SD and disappear to SD w/o us SD people knowing.

NismoEagleRock.. NICE COLOR Z! Glad to see another LMS out for a run.

To all those shade lurkers I didn't meet, thanks for coming out and braving the heat, windy roads, and the long drive.

If anyone EVER needs to use the bathroom on Angeles Crest... ask Iris, she can point you to a nice tree (hey, Mike WANTED me to come over to take photos of you trying to find a place... wasn't my idea!)

Manny good job on leading us out.

AudioPat, good seeing you again. Bring Jay Leno out next time. Hehe.

Daytona.... I got some funk pictures of you again. You always gotta have a face for the camera.

Bob... bob bob bob. Good run w/ you again. You forgot to bring BFly along though.

ZONER. g/f = 21 = SD = party = triple threat represent. Remember red bull gives you wings... and a sudden loss of memory.

Anyways it's late... and I'm beat from 6 hours of driving! WOOHAA! Still gotta build some POS IKEA closets before I can sleep... so gotta run.

Take care y'all... I'll see you around! SD beach party!
