so what about the 30,000 mile service, what is done for that? replace fluids? Last time i went to get oil changed, they mentioned my power steering fluid was dirty? i dunno

 

So what should i look for if i want the DIY 30k maintenenance?

Ed from Precision Z is hella cool... I had a prob with Mobil 1 synthetic oil(which he considers crap) and told me what to do to fix it and voila!

I had mine done at Corner 3 Garage in Lake Forest. They're awesome and it was about half the price the dealer wanted. I would 100% recommend them.

I have the same dilemma. My 30K is coming up too. However, I live in between Canoga Park and Lake Forest, both would be a drive. Need a place near SGV. Was looking at Performance and WC Nissan.

 

ill do it for you i used to work for nissan and owned 2 Z's

 

just the manual fluid change, differential fluid, oil and filter, air. Just check the fluid. Otherwise the powersteering doesn't need to be change or brakes. I'm assuming you dont track your car right? Also definitely check the belts... Should not be needing changing but check for cracking.

again I did my 30k a year and a half ago and now due for my 60k. For the 60k I'm changing more... IE brake flush, manual and diff fluid, belt change, coolant change, oil and air filter change. All done by me and all for less that $120.

same answer. except ill be goin to them when i got for my next oil change to get 30k service as well. good honest people who take the time to talk to you and help you out with anything you need. never got that kind of service and care from other performance shops.
