Then get some nice lighting (important) and possible glass tops if you have plastic. Once you get started you will need live sand, live rock, sea salt, de-chorlinated water. After that, it all depends on what you want to have.
Find you a local fish store (not one of these pet chain POS) and tell them about your equpiment. They will know what you need. You might get gear cheaper at a chain, but buy your fish from a LFS, they will be in better shape and be better taken care of

I have 3 salt tanks, a 45gallon reef in my bedroom, with maroon clown, pink goby and yellow tang, different leathers and polyps, and a frog spawn. THis tank is easy to tank care of, I think it is well balanced with all the live rock and sand etc. My power compacts lights broke so the coral is starting to whither away. My living room has a 60 acrylic tank, with mushrooms, polyps, open brain, orange skunk, green goby, chromis, pajama cardinals, etc. This tank is a mess, it has a ton of algae that will not go away! So much work with this tank. My last tank is a nano in the garage, I use it mostly to culture live rock and house sick fish, right now it has 2 damsels that won't die, I have changed the water for like 2 months and they were alive yesterday! I'm thinking about selling the nano and possibly the acrylic. No time to take care of it all!
