i dont really remember... but i remember when i got into my accident with my civic the gas was .95 cents... that was in late 01. damn its hard to imagine that back then i could have filled up my Z for 20 bucks.. now 40 bucks gives me barely half a tank...

started in 2000 for around 1.50ish. gas was starting to get expensive it had been stable at under 1.00 for a while.

I don't remember exactly, but, it was so long ago, at that time, when gas hit $1 a gallon, I thought the world was gonna end.

In 96 when I started driving gas was $0.79 a gallon and on certain days you could get it for $.69

 

1.09 for 89,thats all i can remember.

In '99 I know gas was well under a $1 for 87, probably $0.80 for 87oct.

Its funny, on Sat. my wife and I where at my brother-in-laws house for BBQ and my father-in-law and my brother-in-law's father-in-law were talking about how when they first started driving gas was $0.23 a gallon

I started driving in 2000, it was right at a $1 for 87.

For whatever reason, I remember before I could drive I was riding with my mom after school and she drove past a gas station when the gas light was on and I asked why she didn't stop, she said "$1.16 is just too much for gas" lol

 

^ lol i remember. 2 packs for cigarette and full tank on my 99 i30 was 20 bucks
