It comes from NM, more traditional chile on a bad day than Californians will ever know.. maybe you thought process is clouded by air quality in California.
but with the whooping number of 1673 people that live there everyone should know about hatch =D

Lol the most random thread ever.

But my favorite place for mexican food and carne asada would be the
Little Caboose on Beach and Ball in Buena Park.
All other Mexican places fail after eating here. The place is literally a hole in the wall, it's just a little tiny shack on a corner.

Also I used to eat at all those Albert taco places, but after eating at the little caboose albert places became just another taco bell to me.
Also those Albert taco places are everywhere they just slighlty change their names to avoid taxes.

I don't see why everyone loves this place.

My favorite is Los Jarritos I & II in Pomona.

I just realized I've eaten a boca burrito (had it while i was sitting at Vision Autosport ... LOL)

yes, i too bow to the power of the Boca. It was truly tasty. If the daughter wasn't graduating tonight and if we didn't have to go eat chinese banquet.... we'd def be eating carne asada tonight.

wouldn't be great if mexican restaurants had a 9-course banquet like chinese ones? mmmmm......drooooooool.

King Taco....I like my carne asada without fat and the King makes good on removing the excess fat! An asada burrito at 2 am on 3rd st...mmmmmm.

NM is not traditional Mexican and taste nothing like what my family makes!

If any of you guys want to taste "real" carne asada a burrito is not the answer. Tacos is what makes it all worth it. Come visit Huntington Park and you will find a taco stand on each corner (not kidding) of Santa Fe from Long Beach Blvd through Nadeu.

Tacos are $1 served to you hot off the grill. You usually have 4 different hot sauces, radish, cucumber, lemon, onion, carrots the works, all while downing a traditional style coke! You can go crazy and order tounge, brain, throat, tripe or intestine...all very yummy!
