Yea this new law is rediculous. These stupid drivers are not causing accidents because they are holding the phone. Its cause they are talking on it. I really don't see how this will improve anything. Just another scam to make money.

What is ridiculous is you can't hold a cell phone while making a call but you can text someone.....WTF is that. Am I gonna need another reason to hate California? How is texting safer than holding a phone to you ear?

well. i think cell phones cause people to get into accidents while texting or dialing.. when youre actually holding the phone to your ear and talking, it doesnt really affect my driving. of course, there are women drivers out there that'll get into accidents no matter what..

Wrong...........This has been a law for a while in other states it was just a matter of time before it came to California. New York has had this for a while among other states.

I think Tennesee or Washington was one of the first to restrict cell phone use in 2005 but I may be wrong on this.

Blah on those silly bluetooth headsets... make people look like self-important tools. What about those truly handsfree Parrot kits?

Stock bluetooth ftw!

+ 5 million - either people cant use the phone or there should be an age limit to which you can use the phone while driving!
