I just hope those guys stay away from any of our upcoming meets because we don't need attention from cops. Honestly I thought the meet was pretty lame. Most guys there seemed like they only came to show off.

I almost got ran over a couple of times trying to squeeze off a couple shots......but it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile....winnin is winnin.

No you didn't, attracting police is not funny.

 

a fellow respiratory therapist went and i didnt meet him? lol

 

At the time of the pic, (same night), we weren't even revving at all and still attracted this cop. (I was only joking about this particular shot and nothing else.) Turned out to be a cool cop, but still, IMO a meet with 20+ fixed up cars will at least cue them to be aware. At the R&R meet, I'd see 4 or 5 cop cars driving around every hour or so.

We apologize for rolling out like that at AutoBacs. It was great meeting a lot of Z's there.

 

I know where the cop car pic was taken, I saw them posted on driver.

There have been meets where cops order hoods popped, and citations are given out. Yeah somethings are not supposed to be on California cars, but getting hassled because of others actions isn't cool and certainly isn't funny.

Ricky and Ronnie's is a pretty orderly gathering, as are most gatherings and the people who organize them will generally state all the blah blah blah about loud music and revving for a reason.

 

That's EXACTLY why we don't like people burning out and crap at these meets.

 

Duly noted. I'm glad the people we left behind (mostly Z's) didn't get pinched.

 

I left early thinking this might happen. Again probably the same G35/G37s that was driving like a maniac on the way to HB meet from Autobacs. "Most" not all like to showoff and rev with only intake...I cant Imagine if their car is boosted...kids

Perf Nissan meet, HB Meet, Autobacs meet, whats next? G35 guys need to regulate on these idiots.

 

Its kind of hard to "regulate" on these idiots when everyone is supposed to be responsible for their own actions.

Please don't extend your judgment on all "pathetic g35 drivers", since there were about 3 who did stupid sh*t when they were leaving, and there were 15 others who left quietly and mind you didn't stand around like a high school dance during the meet.

So let me speak for myself. I loved seeing all the cars, Z's, G's, the Camaro, the Supra, the R33, and the Datsun. It was a nice meet. Mingled briefly. Personally I didn't rev/peel out/play loud music, but I wanted to apologize for those who did since this reflects the G community.

The pic of the cop car was meant to lighten things up for the more refined crowd over here, it was meant in good faith.

 

Man, some people need to loosen up a little here. Blaming one or two people's actions on the whole community. Yes, there were some individuals who acted immature, but you can't purposely blame the whole G community. I ain't here to apologize for some actions that were taken, but damn lets just chill
