it's not the obvious to some people. I'm not saying this is you but I see people driving 65mph in 45 zones or 90+ on the freeways and it's just ridiculous. It's mainly kids 7-22 years of age that I see doing this

What then if he was intentionally speeding. Again, it's obvious and he got caught. Unless he was doing an outrageous speed, he just more-than-likely did it as a mistake and wants the best possible outcome.

i can pretty much guess ur age from that comment. its funny cuz your trying to get "forum cred" when you have 30 post and make comments like that. its immature, and im sure your like...what, 18???? i mean, im not trying to say i have like a grip of post, cuz i dont. but your only making it obvious when you say childish things like that...especially after we have been talkin about this..

exactly the point. i figured there were people on here who know what to do when dealing with that stuff, and my assumption was right. i never said i was trying to get out of the ticket. like blur said, i made a mistake and want the best possible outcome. some people know what to do in these situations.

ummm... yeah, I guess my post reads like I'm a dick... Unfortunatly, I really did just get a BS seatbelt ticket in the back of a cab. I guess you'd expect more tact from a 70's kid - I apoligize. GL with minimizing your expenses, loss of time, and any future ramifications this ticket might impose.

See Miyk- this is why Vegas is better than Socal. We have attorneys to deal with that crap.

Like Fith said, invest in a radar detector for those Vegas trips. Saved me enough times and well worth the cost considering fines, court fees and gas wasted to go to court. Nevada troopers still use KA band and my 8500 picks it up fine.. V1, 9500.. all are good.

Like what the other guys said, do an extension, then trial by declaration... if the officer replies and court fines you guilty then do a trial de novo. Make sure you check out ticketassassin for advice as well as ticker forums..... stuff is still fresh in my memory from contesting a ticket. Won by trial by declaration.
