saw my ex-girlfriend's dad down 50 pieces of sushi in one sitting... and it wasn't even a competition. he only weighs like a buck thirty too.

also know a little asian girl (about 100 lbs) that beat out a 200-something lb. guy in a hot dog eating contest...

and I'm sure everyone saw the scrawny japanese guy win the nathan's hot dog eating contest this year...

personally, I think they all have tapeworms or something...

Dude, training? Wth? I thought this was all fun and games. I just wanna have fun and EAT! I don't wanna train and end up going there 30lbs heavier so I can win this. I can't wait till next time cuz this is just too much fun. Let me rephrase this... this competition should be about FUN. Whoever wins, wins. But we're all friends and trying to have a good time. Sometimes, I think you guys get a little too serious over this pride thing.

That all looks really good (except for the ketchup - whats with that anyhow).
Nobody ordered UNI ????
Also, your point system seems terribly flawed. Nigiri should be worth less than a roll and anything "challenging" should be worth an extra point. Why is a cali. roll worht more ?

Actually, I won one of these once myself. However since getting sick on Sushi I have not been able to eat it to the same extent.

Nice job. Eat like you stole it !!!!!!

When you put it that way, I put down over 50 pieces of nigiri sushi in a sitting pretty easily, but it really depends on my appetite also. The factor that precludes me from defining my max is cost. Oh, but I'm around 185 with a 33-inch waist, so my feats may be nowhere near your ex's dad. I'm just a hungry boy, that's all.

Yah, this is one eating contest I'm not entering. Put me in with some white people and I'll blow them all away. But damn, everybody except Barney is Asian, and Barney is practically Asian (dude, I saw you eating cookies and bread and saying you were still starving). So all my genetic advantages are gone.

1 order of Nigiri comes with 2 pieces. That is 1 point. A normal roll is worth 3 points, the equivalent of 6 pieces of Nigiri. Bigger rolls are worth 4 points, the equivalent of 8 pieces of Nigiri. Most rolls are not bigger than 8 pieces if Nigiri. So I think the system is fair. There are some rolls like the Tempura Cal Roll which I think should be 5 point, the equivalent of 10 pieces of Nigiri.

Remember, 1 order of Nigiri comes with 2 pieces. So when you see someone put 3 orders down, they are getting 6 pieces back.
Anyways, there will be a new point system in effect for the next match. Since rolls can differ greatly, I will determine the points for each individual roll. The nigiri and hand roll point system will be the same as they dont differ much at all. This means I am going back to Tadashi and ordering every roll on the menu. Gawd, I love being the judge.

Just remember to look at the hand rolls.

The Unagi and Spicy Tuna ones are much heavier than the Salmon Skin Roll.
