Hey, you're funny!

I was asked to be in it - the magazine editor (American side of the japanese mag) had asked Audio Pat, who's also in the mag, if he knew of any female Z owners. So naturally, he thought of me!

I'm at work right now, btw. Got here at 11, probably be here until after dinner. SUCKS, but at least I drove my Z into work during a somewhat less-trafficky time. Downtown LA is still trafficky though - Xgames are going on at Staples.

 

Wow! You're like an international celebrity.

BTW - What do you do that you have to be stuck at work until after dinner (and on a Saturday)?

I'm a lawyer (that's why there are those silly pix of me in a suit). We got motions from opposing counsel yesterday, due in court Wednesday - partner wants to see drafts tomorrow....

Hey Moodie, where'd you buy the mag? I've been looking to pick up extra copies!

Interesting.... How much was it? Can you buy however many they have and mail them to me (USPS Priority is fine)? Like 10 would be GREAT! Is that a pain for you? I'm sure it is - I feel bad asking. Don't go out of your way to do it or anything, and there's no rush.... But they only gave me ONE copy and told me it was only sold in Japan so I haven't given any to my family or anything.

And of course I promise to mail you a check, plus buy you drinks whenever the SoCal folks make it up there or you NorCal guys come down here....

I don't want to steal any thunder from Iris but I would be interested in an extra couple of copies for my collection. Was this store in Fremont?

I'm always trying to enhance the Z collection...I have articles and brochures from Japan, UK, Germany, Mexico and Australia. Let me know if you can get any over and above the request from Iris.

Iris... Try checking out any of the book stores in Little Tokyo. They should have them. Try the Yahaon Book store or the on in the Otani Building on 2nd and Los Angeles.

And Yobri, they just gave me one copy. and I didn't even get paid or anything. Oh well, it was fun!

 

Well, I think Iris can out resource me if it comes to a bidding war but I'll give you a Hot Wheels commission at the next Z meet if you can come through for me.

 

I asked as well, but the cashier said whatever is on display is what they have.

I have to give it to the first person that PM'ed me, so...... sorry Iris.

Check with a Japanese bookstore in your area, they may have it! Good luck!!
