Ya it's fine, half the cars there aren't even registered. The cops that do show up were asked to be there to keep people from revving and drifting out of the parking lot. Last time people were grouping up and cheering for the cops when they pulled over the idiots that couldn't control themselves
+1 +1 +1 there will be cars with wayyyyyy less road-legality (did that make sense?) than you. every time i've gone, cops do roll through but really it's just to make sure that everything is ok and no one's going apesh*t crazy trying to show off. it's a MUCH older, MUCH more mature crowd that's been gathering at the same spot for YEARS so PD knows all about it and is OK with it.
yesterday, i was going to el taurino and a cop followed me and my friends car for a good 10 mins. we were all going exactly 67 and he pulled him over because the cop said my friend was tail gating me. HE WAS LIKE 15 FEET AWAY ****IN DOUCHE! hes from riverside too, wow. mother fck the police, stupid pigs. i hate them all, i'll kill them so i can eat some fckin bacon.
met some of my old buddies there as well
