We haven't set it up yet... but from previous smaller meets, we used to meet at Grand / Valley. In the Petsmart plaza. I think the best location is in front of Petsmart. That's the biggest empty spot since most people don't go to Pets/Kolhs.

To caravan leaders M6SXTZ, Blue Batmobile, and Vinalex, I believe it is about time to start up caravan threads from your local areas. Thanks!

For the two-way radios, there's no need to spend a lot of money. A two-way with sub-channels is more than enough. I believe Cobra makes a cheaper alternative that can be found at bestbuy and the like.

 

You should also consider the on-ramp to the freeway for where ever you meet. The on-ramp from Grand onto the 60W/57S could separate the group a good amount.

 

Hopefully I'll finish my WPE in time for this. Dam school and tests.

We were thinking if we should use the old meeting spot. Which is Valley/Grand on the new Petsmart parking lot in city of Walnut... I guess soon he'll make the thread.
