Default Bad friday night! & blown motor

*** Edit Thursday Night*** (havent gotten any sleep)

so after 112k on the Z 60k being supercharged the stock block is done!
She served me well. Time for a rebuild!

12:30am Something blows in engine car shuts off @ 120mph (was full open throttle)

12:35am pop hood in a cloud of smoke I think I might of blown the engine

12:37am See another forum member drive by car to fixed up not to be

12:45am let car cool down wont start oil everywhere call AAA

1:25am tow truck shows up looks at my car & says heck na I aint towing this to low!

1:30am call AAA again to get a real Tow truck guy they say they call me back

1:45am Buddy & I pop in Dave Chappell into DVD player and wait

1:50am it starts to rain!!!

2:20am CHP shows up & messes around with us for a bit they DUI me good thing i dont drink & drive (they wanted to push my car off the road with theirs i declined)

3:30am 2nd tow truck shows up & hooks me up for reals this time. (was scared that after market tow hook wasnt going to hold it did fine!)

4:00am Arrive & drop my car off at Corner 3 Garage in lake forest (I know they going to take care of me)

4:30am Tow truck drops us off at Shell Gas station in Garden Grove on way to
another call

4:31am Buddy & I freezing outside while we wait for a ride

4:45am ride arrives & picks us up

5:00am I am finally home… Going to take a shower & call in sick to work & pray for good new from my car tomorrow.
I hope I didn’t blow my engine and need to do a rebuild

*******************************

9:00am Corner 3 runs Compression test. Blown # 4 cylinder & cracked spark plug in another spot.... needs new motor

I guess this is the price for playing the game

Good thing you don't drink and drive and that the CHP didn't give you a ticket for having a modded car. Good luck with this.

Dam Brotha sorry to hear, if it's time to rebuild it's time to get some better injectors and internals while your at it.
If you need some help during the downtime just lmk or ask one of the others you know we got your back.
But this month sure does suck man first my roof than your motor.

I highly recommend a Forged Performance Stage 1 block. sorry to hear about your motor, wish mine would have lasted that long with my old Vortech.

Too late. OP was running another vehicle at 120mph when he popped the motor as he stated.

really dont need to sleeve the block if your gonna be under 650 whp. The stock sleeves will hold up fine. Its your call though.

Damn... sorry to hear about it. At least you had if for the last meet. I hope it all goes well for the build!! At least your okay and you didn't crash.

O and to the people talking street racing... No need for this. He didn't say what he was doing. You can't tell me you have never gunned the throttle in your car. I hit 120 on the toll road occasionally when roads are open and no ones in sight. And if you read it, CHP came up after this had all happened, he didn't get pulled over. Anyone that doesn't like the story then just ignore the post and move on with your life.
Sorry end of Rant...

Anyway, Mike seriously man, good luck with your car and let me know if you need anything.
