I still don't get why anyone would celebrate Valentine Day. I pretty much treat whoever I am with very well on a normal day and I don't need a V~Day to be extra nice. I even once a while surprise her with flowers just to make her day. Again that is me and maybe I don't experience the angry women that gets mad when she doesn't get flowers on Feb.14th

I encourage you guys to boycott Vday unless you feel that you would be skin alive the following day for boycotting

bro that is exactly what i am talking about. you can come to my house on any given day and find her flowers in a vase. for these exact reasons im not frowned at for not going out and blowing $3-400+ on her for a day when I already handle my business throughout the year. its called gettin my grown man on....

for v-day she will get flowers and a fun night out... should cost less then $60 in total for everything. only reason why we are even going out is pretty much we always take a bunch of pictures so we can at lest be doing something for the holiday/event.

 

im taking my gf to 3rd street promenade (santa monica)..

its simple, you can just take her somewhere with sentimental value, like the first restaurant you guys went to or something along those lines.. if you think spending more money is the way to go, then either:

A) you have no game.
or
B) she's the wrong girl

like the above users said, treat her right all the time and valentine's day will be just another day.

 

 

one thing that plenty of guys fail to understand is, its NOT the amount of money you spend, its the memory you create. use a little creativity for god sakes and see how far that gets you... spending $200 on dinner and giving her a $100 trinket is cool and all when you take her out for V day, but i bet that when i go scoop up your girl 2 days later and bring her back to my house and have rose petals from the driveway to the bath tub, 3 different massage oils, fukk her 5 ways from friday and eat her on the kitchen table after i covered her with strawberry syrup and strawberries I HIGHLY DOUBT she will remember your crappy little $300 vday special.

As of now, this is whats going down for a lil update guys/girls.

1.going to write/sing her a song, record it on a CD listen to it while driving to our dinner...
2.eat GOOD food
3. walk around huntington beach and get ready for a hot night.
4. a hot night.

of course, candies and flowers are within those 4...

maybe instead of playing the cd of yourself singing, you could just do it live?

there's a small japanese bar in west covina that has karaoke on saturday. if you're a decent singer you could put on a show for her. just a suggestion!
