but the evo has transimission problems. even m0nkie said the gears grind and the dealer is totally useless on helping him out.

i say get the 370... you'll probably enjoy it more in the long run... seriously. also, boosting on the 2 liter engine of the evo... you might have to build it up a little more to pump more power if you want it to be super reliable as a DD.

Anyways, the tranny grind is kind of annoying... but every new car has problem.. ahem tire feathering... 3 Evo's broke their plastic gas pedal and the whole world made a fuzz about it.. but that's 3 Evos total, so not worried about it. as for reliability... I think if you keep it around 350whp (GSR or MR).. you should be ok. Anything above that, new clutch, bla bla bla...

that's true about the evo... since it is new, there will always be problem with new models... still though... even you want a 350/370 again.

waz, you want a dd... keep your z and buy a civic or something, in stick... dammit. or get the new 370... trust me, you probably will want one again in a couple of months or so. hahaha.

 

STI is the biggest POS ever made... just because every STI tries to race me on the street... new one is kind of growing on me though... HKS exhaust 4 pipes.. sex.

 

Ya I admit I want to go back to the VQ... if you love your exhaust/engine sound, you will never find another car like the VQ. plus the Z is just a sexier car in general.. I love rounded out looking cars... in fact, I don't even know why I bought an EVO... had a rental charger and I desperately needed a car... 370 wasn't out then.. so it was STI/EVO/A3.. I even looked at mazda Speed3 but that wasn't out either..

the mazada speed 3 is a fast car... faster than the 350 and i'm sure the 370. but it is fwd... and it don't look that great to me. the new sti is nice. but they have oil consumption problem before with the pervious models... my friends have had them before. but their cars also also modified for much more hp. but yes, the new sti's are pure sex...

Speed3 is amazing.. I remember seeing them for the first time with the Z... it was a pure driver race. The car stayed up with me. maybe it was the driver, I managed to pull about half car length. I had exhaust/intake/headers only.

iono about the Evo... you know if you love your car or not when you wash it... the Z was like ahhh washing my baby.. the Evo is like WTF is this hidden spot that I can't clean god fukin dammit

I'm going to stick with the EVO a few years longer... maybe I can make it to a weekend race car. In time, I need to get a DD... driving clients to LA and back in traffic is a ***** with the EVO.. half of them are like I'm getting car sick...

I'd love a M5 but realistically speaking.. I'm looking at a second hand IS350 or SUV for DD.. I'd love to own an Armada!! almost took the Armada over the Evo
