yeah no prob... we'll take care of your rims... i know alex and nel will help... and nel WILL help this time and not just stand around. i know alex don't mind getting his hands dirty.

you just have to find the right color spray paint you want. i donno if there's different types of spray paint... do a little research.

m0nkie... you need to find some place that will sell the color you want in a spray can... i think that might be the hardest part. lol.

 

^Everyone is using Dupli color... so I'll go to Kragen to look at them.. thing is, the bronze they offer is quite light. I read a few people spray a layer of black first then do bronze on top... maybe I'll try it that way. a layer of metallic black + bronze

so far it's going to be like:

-2-3 cans of primer
-3 cans of bronze, 1 can of black rim paint
-tape
-300 grit sandpaper

thing is.. the clear coat in the end protects the paint better.. but it makes it glossy.. hmmm

 

i am just curious if we can get the same consistancy with painting the lighter bronze over the black. you might have bronze rims, but in four different shades. you know what i mean? might as well look for a different maker of the rattle can paint that has the exact color you want.
