all of the above mike, yes ps3 is a great media center, but still too expensive waiting for price drop.

 

yeah i love my ps3. I dont use it too often though. Mostly some GT5 here and there and some blu ray watching. Its a little picky about my wifi setup though..

 

there actually is a new alternative now. the ps3 came out in slim version which i believe will be retailing at 299.

the ps3 original actually cost more to manufacture than the asking price.
they make it up from dvd's, games, and blue ray sales

this is what kristina tolds me since she works at sony, not sure if its true or not but it could just be a corporate ploy to make the consumer feel like shiet and buy more games and dvd's
