wear some gloves.
and be sure to get some cardboard, wet it and put it in the oven while it bakes so u dont damage the headlight.

i didn't say anyyyyyything about hiking with 50lb packs, i'm just talking about camping. with like.. 3 mile day hikes.. and campfires... and whatever.

we went camping all throughout my childhood and the most my dad ever carried was a hunting knife. he also slept outside on the campground table.. with the knife on his hip.. just in case LOL. i remember seeing mama bear and cub shadows against our tent...

and the part about not knowing if you'd wanna take girls on camping trips of that sort... well.. maybe it's just the girls you hang out with who can't enjoy it.

my girl would go, most likely wont even complain, but this is MY girl so i know it would be totally ok to bring her but for bringing other girls that i PERSONALLY dont know? she may seem in the suburbs, but when you get her like miles into the woods she starts and then i gotta someone else's gf. then that guy gets all because he feels the need to protect his complaining tavern ***** and we gotta then he's and since im not one for chasing someone down i just gotta

NOW... all of a sudden, im the in the woods!

to make matters worst, onedirty, now its all your fault!

3 mile hikes? thats still too close to the main roads... the reason you hike 10+ miles is to get AWAY from other people just coming up the trail and INTO the wilderness... the most your dad carried was a knife? hmm... i guess im a cross between a little mcgiver and a little geh ina choppaaahhh , maybe with a dash of survivor man minus the insect chewing but honestly i think its just cause i like to shoot shyt so i dont mind the hikes cause at the end of this rainbow, there's a case of shells (even though the ammo could be mistaken for a pot of gold IF it was held in a dark kettle?)

FYi... never mind the HOT showers earlier...if you were REALLY camping.. there would be no sissy "CAMPGROUND TABLES" for your dad to sleep on UNLESS he made it HIMSELF out of animals he has slain with his hunting knife
