as for the brakes... what should i do? take it back n rebleed them?

 

well does the pedal feel any softer than how it was before? If the brake pedal is very firm and the brakes grab immediately from any input from the brake pedal, then bleeding the system wont do any good if there isnt any air in the system.

The real problem could be the pads. If they werent bedded properly, they wont grab like they're supposed to even if the calipers are squeezing as hard as they usually do.
