^ keep in mind that the 3 surrounding cities (walnut, db, rowland) are primarily asians. it's going to be mostly asian people wherever you go around here (except panda express)

i don't think the costco deal is what's killing it. it's the fact that the facility is newer, inconveniently located in a busy *** plaza, and unfortunately, ******* tiny. i go sometimes at night and have to go behind cvs to find parking. you have a pharmacy, supermarket, gym, fast food joint, and gas station in the same plaza.. no **** it's going to be packed.

Yeah bro I hear ya. But from everyone I talked to, they all got their membership from costco. Ur right, Asians everywhere. Being asian myself, it's kind of an overkill sometimes. Hahaha.
The funny thing is, that 24hr fitness looks nice but the plaza is smaller than shiet. That place is packed even past 10 pm when I drive by there sometimes. I am actually thinking about switching because a lot of my boys go there and they been bugging the crap outta me to go with them.

i used to have la fitness for the longest time.. was paying $99/year for the membership which is cheap as ****.
a few months after the 24 on grand opened i decided to get the costco 299/2yr plan. while it was 50 dollars more a month i figured it was worth it since 24 is super close to me (i live in snow creek).
no doubt about it, the place is small and it gets way too crowded, but the equipment is very nice and i just like the atmosphere better. to be honest, you never really have to wait THAT long to use a machine/bench or whatever. after i made the switch, la fitness started feeling like a crappy prison gym. only thing it lacks is a bball court..

Haha. Shiet I was at bally's. That was the prison gym. Lol. My thing is that ls fitness is a lot closer to me. Maybe I should go try 24 again. It looks big from the outside I'm just suprised that it's actually not that big. I do agree tho, the equipment there is very damn nice.

ya... i buffed up a few years ago.. got to my desired 155lb.. then i slacked off and started smoking n stopped working out... none of that **** again! im on some protein powder supplement and going for it again.
went to Ballys before.. it was good, but smelled like ****.. and bunch of gangster mexicans work out there.. kinda scary..
this 24 is nice! I like the machines alot! I go at random hours like 3pm or today 9:30.. not packed at all.. i can always eyeball a machine while working on another and switch right after. Im doing the monthly 31$ plan right now.. but gonna switch to their 199$/yr plan.
hopefully by end of the year I can gain a good 15-20lbs..

btw im slowing down on the smoking dramatically now
