Default The z is gone but she is replaced with.....

As some of you know my Lemans has been sold to a auto collector in Lebanon. The buyer is shipping it overseas and will be the FIRST Lemans in that country. The Z has been on of my favorite cars of all time I really had fun with it. I met some good friends hanging out with the old 3fivezeroz crew ealry 2003 if some of you remember that car group. I still have fond memories of meets and canyon runs we did in the 350z's ealry life. Most of the old members have moved on or don't post. However the new generation has also brought some good people to the scene. After so many years with the z and miles ( 163k ) it was time for me to move on. I decided to get a 2005 6spd Machine Silver C6 Corvette. I fell in love with this car after a quick test drive and never looked back. Here are the new pics and old pics of my Lemans 350z.

Early 2003

Summer 2005

SPRING 2006

2007

2008-2009

And my new toy.........

And here is DVO stealing my thunder with his FD......

I swapped the engine and tranny at 110k other than that the car never gave me issues.

Yes indeed I wont see too many Vettes with unpainted body kits, Shopping carts spoilers, Fart Cannon exhaust and lambo doors. Although the Vette does get the ocassional WTF mods it's not common.

If 400hp, 400lbs ft torque, 4.2 0-60mph, Quarter mile 12.6 @ 115 topping out at 186mph with a .28 coefficient of aerodynamic drag is mid life then sign my up for my hip surgery now.

Great upgrade Ed. It will be weird seeing you roll in this thing until you get your full head of white hair. Then it will make a lot of sense..."Mid-life crisis...VROOOOM!"

All jokes aside. Great upgrade. I heard these things are similar to the C5 ZO6's were are just monsters. Report back on how much more panties drop
