~~June 27, 2009 Huntington Beach HUGE GTG~~
Ya there was alot of cars there but no parking and everyone was scattered everywhere. I parked on the other side with some of the other 350z. There was alot of people at the beach today.
THE MEET.
Not well organized everybody was separated and parking was full,didnt see much Zs?? and i believe i was the only lemans sunset?? ..i parked next to a couple Zs on the other side of the parking lot nice meeting you didnt get names....said whats up to the guy in the cube.
Cruised after with the g35 guys and ate at in-N-out in irvine nice meeting you g2fast.. and the rest of you guys..
Over All i had i good time

man im so mad i really wanted to go this morning came and the two friends that were gonna roll with me(2 fx35s) ranked it! and i didnt wanna go by myself i woulda been another lemans der can someone post pics i thought it woulda lookd like the pics of the first page which was a whole crap load of g's and z's nex to eachother der should be another meet during the week cuz im sure weekends at the beach are going to b packed wit ppl or we should organize another meet so i can actually go for missing this one lol
When I saw the lot full, I bailed. My thought is that this could become as big as the West Coast Nationals but to pull it off would require interaction with the city, having security (if nothing more than guiding cars to the make / model based sections) etc and all that means permits, fees and insurance and.... registration fees and another level of organization. Something like HIN but with the summer day at the beach thing goin on.

While the beach is nice to go to, with the event happening during summer, this is more likely to keep happening. It would be better to consider a spot where the general public isn't as likely to overcrowd it as well.

^^^ exactly what I was thinking, during the summer you get people from inland coming out when its nice and sunny, like yesterday, going to the beach. I know if we had gone a little bit up the coast to Bolsa Chica area, like 5 mins. away we could have had a much better parking situation since all the lots are linked to each other and they have a massive parking lot. Its also the same price, $10 for parking. Overall though the meet seems like it had a high turn out!!

hey I remember you pulling in... you were chilling with us.. the Walnut 909 Caravan mostly.. and part of the OC caravan.. good turn out tho! lot of people.. but it could have been better if host could try seal off some parking spots... We had a meet here when Rickdogg hosted the big event and we were able to come way early and block off a good 100 parking spots for everybody...

seriously tho, i thought it was a lot worse than the pic showed. i was thinknig everything is crushed in. but man, i know eric and peter will take care of you man. sucks that it happened, hope your car comes back better than before.

Thanks mang.. yeah there was a guy that was signaling to take my parking spot on the street so i figure it'd be safe to pull out. As soon as I pull into the lane, some fool from the far lane goes around him and turns into my lane. I was pissed but oh well atleast i'm alright and the car is drivable. The door doesn't close properly, i have to lift it and slam it for it to close. Hopefully there isn't too much damage behind the fender/door.
I was next to Peter when you called him to tell him what happened. Good luck getting that fixed!!
