Default Tire Rack

Anyone used Tire Rack before? I've never bought tires from them. Do those of you who buy from them just buy the tires and then take them somewhere to have them installed? Where's the cheapest place to have tires mounted and balanced in SD?

I searched but didnt find much info... Thanks in advance.

I've bought from them. No problems. They also have a "network" of stores that will install them. Of course, the mounting price is decided by the store.

I use tiredealsforless.com, bought a full set of toyo T1Rs from them and they delivered them to my house and it was still much cheaper than elsewhere

It's good to check locally for tires+installation also. I normally use TireRack as a baseline. Then, shop around. For my case in my area, I was able to find a shop that priced just as much (by the time you pay for shipping+handling with TR).

I've bought 5 sets of tires and wheels from Tire Rack over the past 13 or so years and never had a problem. I have also bought tires from them and had them mounted locally. I've never found tires in stores as cheaply as you can buy them from Tire Rack. The cost of shipping never seems to exceed the amount of sales taxes you pay (luckily, I live where Tire Rack doesn't have a location so no sales taxes) when you buy tires from a tire store. I have a tire store about a half mile from my house that charges $20.00 to mount and balance the tires I get from Tire Rack. It always seems cheaper to buy from Tire Rack than locally.
