Default Is West Covina Nissan a good place to do alignment?

I had made an appointment with one of the advisor called Tim Lange in WCN to do the alignment for my Z.

Is West Covina Nissan a good place to do alignment for a lowered Z?

I tried to call Westend and PrecisonZ but no one answer....

I must get it done before Thursday coz im going to SD this weekend.

Thanks

We do alignments here as well. I have several techs that are very experience working with modded cars. $89.95 for a 4 wheel alignment.

WEST CO - scratched my wheels and i heard another hommies z got messed up too... i personally aint gonna go there any more.

i have an 07 and the 07's clutch got recalled. they took my z apart and started workin on it and lil did they know they had to stop half way bcuz they found out they were missing a part. the car stood in the dealership for a week, i got it back and then took it back cuz the clutch master was messed up.

i didn't have my car for more over a week, and when i got it back i got it with a 2" scratch on my rear wheel.

due to my experience and what i heard from my hommies experience ... i wouldn't recomend west covina nissan.

They use a hunter alignment system which is pretty fancy.

Don't like WCN dishonesty, BS me about letting the oil cool/settle down prior to do a oil consumption test, waited an hour on the lot, finally a tech came and drove the Z on the rack and took 10 mins to check oil level. That didn't settle a damn thing.
Every since I never went back. Got my last alignment (2 years) from Performance Nissan
Will try Fontana with the alignment soon, Scott is a cool guy.

Thanks for the compliment! But I won't be doing your alignment If you bring in your car, let me know...I will make sure to have the right tech work on your car.

You might want to save your money on the alignment because there's a limit to how much you can adjust the stock suspension. I have hotchkis springs (conservative lowering) and it was still pretty far off spec.

Note on WCN: I went back twice to do my alignment because the 1st time they did it, the alignment was way off. The 2nd time I went back they got it closer to spec. I asked why they couldn't get it like that the 1st time and the guy gave me some BS answer. Also, the guy was kind of rude even though everyone else was pretty cool.

Just make sure when you lower the car you are doing the rear camber arms and don't forget to include the toe bolts....because camber adjustment affects toe!

Anything over 1" drop will through your alignment beyond the specifications they can adjust the stock suspension.

I personally will never take my car to any dealership outside of warranty work.

Call Precision Z tomorrow and schedule an appointment. They have all the fancy machines that the dealerships have, but are also master technicians and will give you a better price than any dealership.

Check out their info page regarding available alignment services:

No offense to your dealership individually but I've been refused warranty service, had oil all over my block from a simple oil change,
and witnessed another dealership flat out lie to a friend when he went in for the oil-consumption checklist.

I've been to dealerships all over Los Angeles and have been treated the same, it's just not worth it to me.

I've been going to Precision for 2+ years with -0- issues.

Again, no offense to you or your team.

I took my Z to West Covina Nissan for my alignment, I highly recomend them.
Ask specifically for Tim in service and Jeff Allen for your tech. He's the tech who's been working on my Z since both him and I used to work together over at Performance Nissan.
I trust him with my car 120%.
