ahh i got a stalker! haha j/p but yes let's plan sum'n. How's this week for anybody? i'm pretty much free anyday after 6 or so. Any of u go up to chantry to have some fun? I go with my bike buddy every once in a while, but we took a friend along with us and she crashed, so now we're kinda weary of it. It's small and tight, but it's a lot of fun hehe.

I'm gone friday till early morning sunday cuz of the san diego show. But what is chantry?

 

yeah... what is a chatry?

 

Chantry flats... it's a hiking place, I used to go there all the time in High school. All u gotta do is drive up Santa Anita, all the way north and you'll hit this lil 2 lane road that goes up the mountain to the hiking grounds. VERY tight corners and small lanes, but it's fun as hell haha. Me and my buddy on his bike have gone up like 4 or 5 times. Basically we sit uptop right before the entrance and watch people going up. If someone heads up, we wait around 10 minutes and then go up, hopefully by that time they're far enough to make the run fun... just watch out going downhill, u can pass 70 pretty easily and not even notice it. lotsa fun, but lotsa loose rocks so you gotta worry about that. At the top, there's a lil picnic area and parking lot, we usually just go up there to chill and have a smoke. Lotta bugs up there tho, but it goes with the mountain. Sorry for the long post, not thinking very coherently taking a study break. Ok bye!

oh ya.. i forgot to add, it's not very long... maybe like 5 miles at the most? but it's pretty exciting... gets my blood pumping the whole time and that's the first time I let my car show me what it can do.

 

Uh, I refuse to go to Chantry Flats. Too many idiots have gone up there and died. That is one of the unsafest roads to speed on cuz every corner is a blind one and gravel and sand is constantly on the ground.
