Your car looks good, luv the color. I paid 3.5k for my paint job here in NY, when I went to pick the car up it looked great, as the months went by and what ever wax they used wore off I can see all the imperfections, swirl marks and blah blah it drives me NUTS!!! Now my friend who has a '90 Miata, I helped his father do the body work mold the body kit, sand etc all he did was buy the material for the paint and paid this guy who have been painting for over 20+years 300 hundred bucks to paint the car. No wetsanding no detailing what so ever, it looks AMAZING!!! no pin holes, no runs like my car, no orange peel. After I do my F/I setup I will be bringing it to him... again from the pics ur car looks nice man

Thanks for all the nice comments guys!
I'm real happy with how it all turned out. I'm going to take the front bumper off myself pretty soon and bring it back to get a repaint...and I'm installing the bracket myself this time
As far as the pricing question, you can get a car painted for $800-900 to $7000-10,000. Frank's on the lower end of that spectrum and does great work. I would say to get a passing repaint job at least in So Cal, you have to pay at least $1500 if you are paying out of your own pocket. I know reliable small shops that will quote a repaint starting at 1K and guys who aren't too discriminating would be happy with the work.

depending on your bodywork, like any body shop he'd have to take a look at the car but honestly a fraction of the cost of one of those big time places as well as it only took like 2 weeks, my paint was off the 2nd or 3rd day
too bad im tracking on my new paint this month end :P

I would have done it myself but Frank offered to put a locking nut from inside the front bumper for 100% security. The shop was behind schedule and too rushed that day I picked up the car otherwise it wouldn't have happened.

UPDATE: Frank and his staff took my bumper back. They were awesome about it. Frank and his guys greeted me with a smile and everyone sincerely apologized to me about it. I was happy they understood where I was coming from and offered to fix it without question. They worked real hard on making the bumper look nice so I understand what a PITA it is to repaint it.
Again, this shop is great. I really like the staff and they do solid work. Pics of repainted bumper to come.
