The Best Pig-Out Spots in Los Angeles County
That's right, guys! This thread is for all of us to list what we think are the best places to absolutely pig-out on some of the best food this world has to offer. List any restaurant, fast-food, or even some of those mobile fast food joints (like taco trucks and such) that you think are amazing. I'll start:
El Tepeyac Cafe
812 N Evergreen Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90033
This place is unbelievable when it comes to portions. Their standard burrito weighs two whole pounds. Their Manuel Special is a whopping 5 pounds, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE. Other things on their menu include enchiladas, tacos and taquitos, which are drenched in guacamole
Pricing is very generous. The standard burrito costs about $8-10. You will not be disappointed!
Manuel's Special:

^ Not me.... just some random dude on google lol.
An incredible taco-truck I know of is located in Eagle Rock, right next to the Comfort Inn on Colorado Blvd close to the 2 freeway. The address is 2300 Colorado Blvd., Los Angeles, CA to the Comfort Inn, and usually there's a truck camping outside I believe thrusdays-sundays from about 9pm-3am. It's called "Fred's" and let me tell you, they have some of the most amazing quesadillas I've ever had. Make sure it's the meat quesadilla if you're not vegetarian
His soft tacos are AMAZING. $1 for each taco, $3.75 for a meat quasadilla (3.25 without meat). Drinks are only $1. I'm in love with this place, be wary of the line though because he's pretty popular

Also might want to check out The Hat (I go to the one in La Brea [OC]). They have chili cheese fries with pastrami that are INCREDIBLE. And the portion is enough to feed at least 3 people, too.
Over in Silverlake is Hard Times Pizza. Best pizza I've ever had, hands down. http://www.hardtimespizzala.com/
MikeBit, try Leo's taco truck in Eagle Rock. He's on Ealge Rock Blvd and Ave. 43 during evenings. Time.com actually called him the Kobe Bryant of taco trucks during that whole taco trucks not parking in one spot for more than an hour fiasco.
If anyone is into BBQ, which I am sure most people are, hit up Phillip's on Crenshaw and Adams. Hands down the best BBQ I have ever had...and I've eaten a lot of BBQ.

Also hit up the taco truck on Eagle Rock and Colorado. They post up right in front of the M-shop, but for dinner only I think. Try their Korean BBQ tacos/burritos/quesadilla/tortas. Straight up Delicious :]]]]
Not a big fan of their Korean BBQ anything. A bit too salty for my taste. But I can see how it would be bomb for others. Just don't like too much salt in my food.
