i tried my best. but i guess i'll still be missing this month's meet. but tmr might just be the day i pick up my Z. wish me luck guys, hopefully i can join all of u next month =)

Just checkin' to see if any OCer's that are going to the cruise today want to meet somewhere to head up to the starting spot for todays twisties.

 

Too bad I couldn't make it... Someone tell me the details. Shucks!.... now I gotta wait another month for the next meet.

 

Our 2nd run was alot of fun. Much less Z's this time. but man the speeds and twisties on this run were awesome. 4 Z's, plus
"jim jones" brought out his brand new S4 and another guy(sorry forgot his name) had his twin Turbo 300ZX. Man that thing was a rocket!
so the 6 of us cruised thru the Canyons for a couple of hours.
We ran the same path as last time and a new one.
Some real hairy turns, one false move and your off the cliff. Man I took some of those turns too damn quick! whoa!
bunches of cops, One had stopped a motorcycle and we blew buy him. He was giving us the eyeball bigtime. We had to take it easy for a bit. an Integra was looking to pass the chain a couple of times with no luck there. The chain had to occasionally blow by the slow a$$ sunday driver. Lots of rocks on the road.

Overall it was fun as hell. Safe. and it was very intense!

Nice seeing a few of the guys again and meeting a few new ones

More Z's next time! too many missed out on a great time.

Those that missed this run, you missed a good one! That road we took off Mulholland was freakin' awesome! Thanks to Rob for setting us off course,ha! That was some really tight twisties!
Next time we do the Mulholland Hwy were takin' that one road, can't remember what the name was but were going to do that again!

And how about Jim's S4? Handle twisites well?

 

Rob's 300z was a rocket. He lead some of the run and I was behind him. Way behind him. He was flying through the twisties.
I'd catch glimpses of him up ahead every now and then.
The roads were crazy twisty roads, I never drove'em before and wasnt sure what was coming up next, it was scarey and fun.
some twistys wrapped around a cliff with no guard rails. Nice drop to your death!

As for "Jim's" Audi I am really not too sure. he ran ahead of us for a while so I never got to see the car running hard. He mentioned to me it was faster than his Z.

If your reading this "Jim" how was the Audi on the run ?

Awesome! I can't wait till the next one to come up. I had to miss the last one. Who was the PPW Z? Looks nice from Diablos pic.

 

The PPW Z said he was a buddy of yours. He said he lived down the block from you. Forgot his name. He had Wheels and a Borla Exhaust.

 

Oh Yeah!! I forgot his name though. I know who you are talkin about... I haven't met him yet, just seen him drive by.
