Just wanted to let you all know that for certain 03-04 350z's, there is a Voluntary Recall Campaign on Fuel Hoses! While we have your car on the lift, its the perfect time to pick up a Nismo Exhaust with FREE INSTALLATION!!!!

"Nissan has determined that some 2003-2004 model year Nissan 350z vehicles may have a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety. There is the possibility that the fuel filler hose may crack and result in fuel leakage from the hose while refueling. If an ignition source is present, a fire could occur. In addition, fuel vapor hoses may crack and cause the malfunction idicator lamp to come on. To prevent this condition from occurring, Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Safety Recall Campain to replace the fuel filler and vapor hoses with new ones."

this is a old recall, mine was done is 05? on my 03.

 

I've been meaning to call. Just keeps slipping my mind till I see this post again late at night when dealerships are closed lol.

 

is this recall in every nissan dealership or just yours?
