Default TT?

Hello Fklentz,

I was checking your signature and saw JWT TT.

If you have twin turbos on your vehicle; you will not be able to register it.

Your vehicle must come stock from the factory with turbo/s in order to register in California.

I know that some modifications such as SC are legal, if CARB certified. Most would be, "for off road use only".

I hope this helps,
Lboy06.

I fully understand the nature of your request but this isn't really something you post on a forum, because honestly it makes you seem a little sketchy.

I understand all that. That's why if anyone had a source, I know they exist, would pm me and not discuss it here openly. Thank's for the replies. When I originally had the turbos installed JWT was in the process of getting CARB certification which we now know did not happen.

I don't track my car, I don't belong to any specific car club. I'm in my mid 50's so don't "run" with a croud that "know" where to go. Just looking for some help from other socal car enthusiasts that may know.

You gotta be careful what you say on here. BAR is patrolling the forums and craigslist for people that are trying to get "clean piped". They are seizing cars and shutting shops down.

See page 7:

I hear ya, I don't like posting here either. My car has all original emission controls and I'm sure will pass emissions tests. It just has issues with visual inspection. I've been lurking here looking for someone selling their HKS s/c setup that I was looking to buy and swap out the current setup, the opportunity has not presented itself yet. I'm retired navy and work for a government contractor, not any state agency. Any PM's will be kept in confidence.

I appreciate all the help. I bought a beater to drive while I have a PNO done on the car. I've been wanting to go thru the engine anyway, plan on going back to 10 to 1 compression and either vortech or HKS s/c, carb certified. Hopefully I'll find someone here who wants to trade setups.
