Default Windshield Repair

I got a rock chip on my windshield at the track last weekend. Anyone know of a good place to get that repaired?

I've seen some places around, but I've also seen some windshields that were repaired and look horrible.

Just looking for a place that can fill it.

Thanks!

Try Safelite. They quoted me a price over the phone. I ignored it, then they called back with a better price. I ended up using a mobile repair service called Car Cosmetic Specialist, much cheaper than Safelite. The guy's name is Ivan @ 626-533-5090. He did a clean job, very hard to tell where the chip was.

Depending on the size of the chip, you can pick up a windshield repair kit at pep boys or autozone for like $10. I used one once and it came out perfect can't even tell where the chip was unless you really know where to look.

Well... i delayed too long... I was going to get it repaired this weekend, but this morning was a little too cold for it... The chip propagated a crack.

Grr.

So now I believe all I can do is replace the windshield. I mean I could try and have them stop it from growing but its still a crack and is still going to be there.

Anyway... does anyone know a good place to replace a windshield?
