wait did someone only get a 1:35........ fail a stock v6 mustang is faster than that... ahahahahahahaha
The base line should be about 1:33 thats what a completely stock Z should do there. if you arent going that fast and youre not driving your car right lol or your car is broken.

Just for comparison, Samuel Hubinette took a stock Nismo around the track at 1:36.xxx for one of the head to head competitions shown on youtube and I don't consider myself as good of a driver as Hubinette.

Just for reference I looked up the track records for pertinent 350z classes at WSIR:
The T2 record (Terrasmak would be underprepped in a big way) is 1:32.7. Keeping in mind that they run on A compound Hoosiers.
The T3 record (closer to the speed of the cars in here) is 1:33.295 in an S2000. Again on A compound hoosiers (most likely).
I think a near 1:35, on paper, looks pretty damn good on street tires.
I'm internet racing here, though.

Hold on...have you driven a stock Z on big willow? If so, did you run a 1:33? If you did, damn, I will hire you as my instructor.

I think your pretty close. I ran a 1:36:2xx with a full weight (3380 w/o driver) 2008 Nismo on RS-3 street tires and although I know there probably is another couple seconds I can improve, it is very doudtful a full weight, bone stock Z could do 1:33:xxx. Note, my car does have bigger brakes, a few extra horsepower and single adjustable coilovers so it would not be considered stock.
lol it REALLY depends on your definition of street tireS..... i use that term very loosely... as in it can be drven on the street... i run 295 PS Cups square... same here big brakes... few extra hp.... 2way coils and other things... sways cage bracing...
oh and my car is about 3400 with me in it... i am a little fat.
well i am trying to find some of my old lap times lool
i think i did a 1:05~1:06(off. timed) and a 1:09(by stop watch) in the rain horse thief with AD08's and a complete set of blown bushings.

Also if I missed you please let me know.
I have updated the event list so we have a total of 8 events corrected for this 2012 season!
For the next event we are going to have a private z/g parking area so it will be a little easier to hang out and meet some new z/g drivers.
We will also have a gathering at the beginning to register all the Z/G drivers and a gathering at the end to announce winners and give out prizes.
Drivers that do end up leaving early will still have their chance to obtain their prizes and find out the status/ranks of their points online as this thread will be continuously updated!
