Default Motordyne plemum 5/16 spacer and Smog CA?

I understand that the Motordyne plemum 5/16 spacer is not CARB (California Air Research Board) approved, although, according to Motordyne, the spacer does not affect the emissions. Once it is installed, it is hard for the smog check technician to see it. Has anybody in CA successfully passed the smog inspection with the spacer without any problem?

your fine man, that spacer is not going change the outcome of your smog test. The smog guy will never notice it. The guys at the Nissan dealership never notice my spacer.

Just a note for future reference: regional posts are best answered in the appropriate regional forum.

Yup, you might even see it advertised as a stealth mod, it's good, get it, esp with the lower plenum (MREV2) again, even more invisible than the spacer.
