I have an 05 350 and my gps door broke, meaning it opens then closes after the screen doesn't pop up and makes a rattle sound after it closes. Does anyone know about a place where they can fix this problem. I live in San Diego, California.. ive done some research but i just cant find anything.

 

Have you looked in the service manual? From what I've read, taking that part of the dash out isn't too difficult, and that's probably the first step to determining what's wrong with the door mechanism and fixing it. There's a sticky thread for getting the service manual online free.

"Need Help" is a poor choice for a thread title on this forum, and due to the way the forum usually works, your thread will probably be moved to the maintenance/repair or interior/exterior sub-forum to die before anyone responds with much helpful info.

 

There are threads here that tell you how to get that part of the dash out and disassemble the cubby that the nav is in. Check the Audio & Video section. It's pretty easy.
