IMHO I doubt any local shops will carry anything that looks like the TE37, but u can try looking for these online: Rota IK-F, Varrstoen ES2, or maybe even Rota GRID if u Plastic dip it..

In regards to headlights Im still looking for a shop myself (passenger side is missing a tab/ starting to haze) Heard theres a shop in National City called Platinum Auto Sport that does amazing restoration haven't had time to ask if they'll consider custom work but I know they do HID conversions so it shouldn't be too hard for them…

their link is http://www.platinumautosportssd.com.. Let me know if that helps at all

Yea I don't know about offsets and want to order them online because I know it's cheaper but don't want to get the wrong offset. I want something where it will be as flush to the fender as possible...I have a 05 Z roadster, going for 18" 9.5f/r... Yea that shop is across from the base I just avoid going to shops around base because I feel like they all try to rip people off.

Go here. I have Varrstoen wheels and I like them alot. The quality seems to be pretty good.

Dave... BLAST meeting you buddy! Hopefully we can get more people together next time. Like we discussed, let's try somewhere not as crowded. AND do some actual car stuff. A cruise and an actual photo op would be boss. Let's try to maybe meet on the coast somewhere. Have a good beach cruise and pictures. Show all these other Z peeps why SoCal's so awesome!

And of course if we get a larger crew we may be able to start organising track days and garage sessions. Big first step though.

Anyway, here are the pics I got. Shadows and lighting were the enemy today. And I can only upload up to 1mg.

Not yet. Only had the car a few weeks. I am looking for headers and exhaust that are CARB compliant. Just a pain finding something that produces decent gains legally.

Eventually I'd like to do some form of FI. But that's a long way off.

dont recommend headers, installation takes forever even if you diy and i didnt feel any power gains, i do recommend long tube headers which would replace your cats also, yea my car is registered to nevada so i dont worry about a visual test. go with hfc and upgrade your y pipe to either a stock HR y pipe go with something else, as for exhaust thats the problem I have I have headers, unresonated test pipes, HR y pipe, and stock midpipe/muffler. dont like the test pipes because they cause my car to rasp at between 2500-3k rpm

Thanks for the advice man! I'm not too worried about install time I did do a turbo upgrade on my old 3000gt. But if there's no power gain I won't bother. I'd like to get at least 8hp while staying CARB legal, looks like that's too much to ask with these cars

Least I should be able to get something out of an exhaust.

David, I think January would be a good idea. Everyone will probably be out if town in December.

On another note, anyone going to the Paul Walker thing this weekend?
