Default 2004 350z code P0327

Hi guys, this is the only code that pops up when I use a scanner. Is this a big problem, I looked into it and it says something about knock sensor or harness. I'm not sure what it is, does anybody know how to get rid of it and know any good mechanic that can take care of this problem. Also the cost estimate? Thank you for your help

that code is for the circuit running low, not necessarily for knock. you can disconnect your battery for a few min and the code should be deleted if it was just a random code. you'll probably have to reset all your setting for your stereo and what not, but if there is an issue the code will come back. that's always a good inexpensive way to "test" your system.

I bought a code reader off amazon for 18 bucks. I was tired of that battery crap. When I had that code it was from the harness being completely destroyed. Somehow the loom and wires were ripped in half. But other than a few hours of work it was an easy and cheap fix.

Just got this code and I'm all-around new to cars. I have an 04 350z Roadster so but I'm not to sure about where the parts are to check. Can you guys give any tips?

Default Same issue… perhaps more lost

Alright so I also have p0327. Except I had known this before and replaced both knock sensor and harness. Code still popped up. I used a voltmeter to check voltage from the sensor while car was running from the new harness I installed since I could reach the sensor itself at that point. Got a voltage of 2.56 I believe which is pretty good. But still code… so I suspected it was some wiring leading to the ecu right? I tried to replace the pigtail connector that the harness hooks up too. But still get the code.

does anyone have advice how I could resolve this? Or if there is a way to check on the ecu itself if that could be bad? I just already put money into fixing the issue and it’s not resolved, so I wanna know if it’s exactly the ecu or some wire somewhere

thank you

Hey Xepher, long time lurker but posting because I can't seem to find any information either.

I seem to have the exact same issue, only code was p0327, replaced with OEM knock sensor, steel braided knock sensor harness (the rodent-proof Amazon harness), and while the plenum is out I replaced my valve covers, cam/crank position sensors, and ignition coils to fix a misfire which I presume is a separate issue.

Afterwards car runs amazing, p0000 no code after ECU reset and some hard driving and I assumed all was good. However a couple days later and a few more miles I checked for codes again and p0327 is back.

I am honestly stumped and don't know how to approach this. Car seems to have plenty of power, revs freely to redline, but the code is still there. Hoping to provide as much context as possible to see if someone else has had the same issue and if you had resolved it.

Cheers.
