Default Professional Detailing

Does anyone know anyone in Southern California. Preferably Orange County that does professional detailing at a reasonable price. I'd do it myself, but I really can't find the time to spend nearly two whole days doing that whole process of claying and polishing the car.

4-5 hours max. I love washing and waxing my car and even claying it! Good details runs $150.00+

the guy that detailed my car (albeit a friend), it took him almost 9 hours. wash, fallout cleaner, clay, buff, wash, seal.... you don't want to have a hack/rush job. expect to pay 4-500 for a good detail

Of course. I've had a good chunk of experience with detailing my G35 on my own. Passing it down to my little brother because I just purchased a 2013 GS450h. So it's not too old of a car and I'd just be interested in getting it clayed and polished. I can do the rest.

if it were me (just how i am) i would find someone to do a full paint correction on it and then seal it with opt-gloss or something similar. the buffing is the only thing i wouldn't do personally. if you do the fallout cleaner, clay bar is easy peasy after it, the fallout cleaner gets most of the embedded stuff out

Haha was leaning more towards that the more I thought about it. But yeah that sounds like the most reasonable option. I've got a fallout cleaner somewhere in the garage so I'll just do that beforehand. Thanks!

price range you mentioned is true. Do you want a good detail or a good price for a detail?

For those prices, I could buy all the soap, microfiber, clay, Porter Cables and pads. Meguiers 105 and Menzerna P4500 polishes AND a good vacuum.

So, that's what I did. Keeps my ZR looking awesome, and out of the wife's hair. I call it hobby/passion/therapy.

I never pay folk to do something I'd enjoy doing myself.

I get that. So, baby steps if you want to control your own finish. Paint correction has changed a lot since I started.

Just did my 1st wet-sand 2 weeks ago, came out great. #Pappy.

Too time consuming and the times that i've tried to do it on my own.. it didn't turn out as perfect as I wanted it to even though I spent most of the day working on it and all. I want to use the limited time that I have to spend with friends and what not lol.

I've got a Porter Cable and was using their newer microfiber pads since the other pads i'd go through at least a few of them during one job.

Paying around $300 or so for a complete detail, interior and exterior, clay, one step polish, wax and he'll be applying an Opti coat on it. (2.0).

After that it'll just be the usual upkeep of a wash and wax every 3-4 weeks or so.

Your going to send at least 150. Do you have a contact number? My friend lives in the OC and he is the only one I let do my cars. It takes 8-12 hours
