I had taken my car to Universal City Nissan to repair my grease streaks. After the repair my windows began to leak.

I have been there 3 times and they still leak.
All they say is bring it back. I don't have the time to do this.

You can visually see where the window "should" line up to seal.
It looks like it did when I brought it in last week.

I Need some where within the vacinity that is trusted, and will do the job the first time, not on the 4th or 5th try. Or never.

Where do you recommend and who should I call.
I live in Burbank, and work in Post Production in burbank so timing and location is key as well.

I don't care if I have to leave it there for a few days, as long as everything that should be done is done properly.

Hey,

I bought my car at Universal and said I would never go back there after that.

So I just got back today from my first service appt. at Performance Nissan in Duarte, which I heard about from this board. It was basically just an oil change but they answered all my questions thoroughly and knowledgeably, and gave me a great deal on synthetic oil.

I was in Pasadena for a meeting and ran over and back in a little over an hour, so from Burbank it wouldn't be too much further.

 

I recommend Performance Nissan of Duarte. I go there for all my warranty work + regular tune up. I live in Torrance so it is quite a drive but it's worth it.

I suggest you take your car to Jeff at Performance Nissan. He will not BS you in any way. YES, it is out of the way, and you WILL HAVE to find the time to make it out there. Universal Nissan is NOTORIOUS for their bad service.

Make time, or keep wasting time with bad service. Pretty simple call to me.

 

Did they provide you with a car, or did you have to rent one.

I originally wanted to go there, but time is such a factor. I have heard nothing but good things about Jeff and Performance Nissan.

Depending on if Duerte is the wrong direction, I reccomend Cerritos Nissan. Good staff, very capable mechanics.

The Performance gang will do a good job for you LEX. You will wish you took it there in the first place. Take some time to look around the "store" while you are there. You will see that this is no "ordinary" dealership. They love "Z's" and "Z Drivers" and every employee I have ever met there is friendly, courteous, knowledgable........and most of all.......striving for 100% customer satisfaction. Took it there, and they did a great job. Didn'y get a chance to take to Jeff. Guess he was busy.

If you rent a car, check the tags on the car.

I was almost back to Glendale when CHP pulled me over for expired tags on the car I rented 15 minutes before.

Had to turn around and drive back and get current tags.
