Only 8 days more till the big evert. I'm going to need some volunteers to help setup tents and guide in cars in the morning. The event officially opens at 10am ,but the volunteers will be needed by 8:30am on Saturday the 20th. Pm me if you can lend a hand... See you all there

Not sure how much driving I want to do until the Paint on the bumper has cured.

 

I'm still waiting too. The Twisted Z 2 is suppose to be in on the 19th......and I have to drive the BIG TRUCK it's got all the tents and PA stuff.

 

How long is the drive from San Diego, anybody?

Probably around 2 1/2 to 3 hours hours drive.

 

Bat......I think it is about 125 miles from San Diego to Duarte. I am guessing you will be there in about 2 hours. Of course it depends on where in San Diego you are starting from. Traffic shouldn't be that bad on a Saturday morning.

 

I though I was going to be traveling to AZ this weekend but trip was delayed so I am headed up as well. First meet for me looking forward to meeting all of you. Sounds like a 6 am start time and stop for breakfast.

 

If you don't live on the coast is might be faster to come inland up the 15 thur Norco and Riverside. Look at the mapping. Come one come all from San Diego

2 hours should do it.

 

It also depends on how fast you drive too... technically, Z can get u there in 1 hour! Just watch out for the cops, I guess.

 

Your right its just under 100 miles from HW78 and I 15 North (64mi) then take CA-91 West (5.8mi) to CA 71 North (16.7mi)merge to CA -57 North (3.4mi) onto I 210 West (9.1 mi) take Buena Vista St exit turn right go (.2 mi )..then on to Central Ave. another .(2 mi)

 

There you should be there to help at set up. An hour I can do in my sleep.

 

I'll be there. Not sure if I'll be bringing anyone else though.
